Hello dear gamers!

I am looking for a game which has the option to put different tier cars in the same race to compete against. I don't want online gaming, what I want is an offline single player against computer competitors.

Please suggest any game you know, old or new doesn't matter.

Any help would be appreciated  :)

You can do this in rFactor and compete against the AI, or simulate the AI racing on its own. I don't have rFactor 2 but presume it's the same.

Whether the AI is good enough for what you want is another question...

(ToCA) Race Driver 3 had multi class GT racing. I think it had licenced British GT cars and drivers as well as more generic stuff.

Grid 1 also had multi class racing but game is quite arcade crap so steer away from it. :p

But as idea, it would be very welcome indeed. Le Mans 24h as full grid and different classes would be fun.

rFactor 1, rFactor 2, Sports Car GT (though, I haven't got that to run on win 10), GTR, GTR2, GTL.

Live for speed is great for your requirements! (PC) Probably the best AI in racing game IMO. Not real cars but they do drive real physics not canned or magic physics (they spin out when hit grass for e.g). They also learn and get faster the more they drive.

As so often, these three guys managed to do things ten years ago that seem to befuddle major studios even today.

Live for Speed is an excellent suggestion - and a great game to boot.

Like the Wright brothers, passion combined with skill can beat money and resources.

Project CARS tries to do this, but utterly ruins it by being dense. In Le Mans type races, you have LMP1 - great, LMP2 - excellent - and......Radicals rather than GT3 cars.

It annoys the hell out of me when a game gets 95% there, then undoes all the good stuff by being stupid. PCars does it a lot.

Isn't that basically what pCars does? "See how good we... could be if we just fixed it. Now buy pCars 2 where it is fixed" or something? The worlds most expensive demo.

I did multi class racing in iRacing for the first time recently at Lime Rock park online with 30+ other drivers. It was great, being in the middle class is a great challenge and adds an extra dimension to racing. How well you can get overtaken rarely rewards a racing driver. I was in the GT3 Merc AMG being lapped by Chevy GT1 type cars whilst lapping Porsche 911 RUF cars. Highly recommended.

Pretty much. Much prefer Assetto Corsa, even though I know the PC version is meant to be much better.

I remember Race 07 could do multi class racing if the mods were set up to.
