Does anyone want to have a go at predicting certain topics or specifics before tomorrow?

 

There always seems to be a steady flow of April Fools articles out there centred around racing. Some outrageously absurd some a little more sneaky. I wouldn't be surprised to see some teams mocking up fake images and posting them via social media to get in on the action.

 

Maybe Mercedes will Photoshop some uglier additional fins onto their car, that's sure to get a reaction.

 

It wouldn't surprise me to a silly article about Honda, they seem to be the butt of most jokes in F1.

 

Possibly one about Bernie returning to F1 or heading up NASCAR or something equally absurd.

I think the one on the front page here about Todt saying F1 is too expensive and reliable… early Fool's day joke no?   The most unreliable part of the cars used to be the engines…. self-fulfilling prophecy for the FIA to continuously insert things in their own anuses like it was a Nazi-themed tea party.   I presumed this will get deleted, so I edited it..  My apologies

I think the levels of fanaticism are pretty similar. Reading AS, for example, is a good source of entertainment when it comes to everything Alonso...
 
In any case, if you compare with the results from the last poll, the latest result may have to do with the sympathy people are having with ALO's situation at McLaren... or there was a holiday in Spain the day the poll came out.

- Alonso to get fed up by the form of his current team and leave McLaren-Honda immediately. Either retirement or surprising mid-season swap.

- McLaren announcing switch to Mercedes.

- Rosberg announcing that he is going to come back to F1.

- Something regarding Wehrlein and his recent issues.

- Maldonado negotiating F1 comeback.

- Mercedes to leave F1 after 2017.
