I'm no expert on Android, but it sounds like you are getting redirects from some sort of adware or malware, which may have installed itself on your device. It could also be from an infected advertisement, which would be specific to the country you are viewing the site from and provided by a third party agency.

Yeah only here. The Country specific add would be targeted at Brazil.

Edit: just tested opening the Lewis vs Bottas thread and after a second or two got redirected to http://betachic.com/...xQVUxMDA=&co=br

Most probably an infected add. Happens only here. I got some 10 other tabs / sites open as well and it only happens on this site and only when opening a thread. Does not happen when browsing the forum structure or if I interrupt the thread loading process once I see text content but before the loads finish.

That's very worrying.

 

We use third party ad suppliers to backfill the ad slots which our central team haven't sold. We go for reputable networks who promise never to serve anything like this, so I will find out what's gone wrong here...

I'll test again now. This thread loaded until end and is showing an add in português aimed at Brazil. I'll check some other threads and see if the redirecting has stopped.

Edit: no redirects now. Once an add didn't load at all, the rest were working normally. Plan/menina, american gods and juventus stuff.

Same happening here, a little bit of navigating the forum in Chrome in Android and it starts redirecting.

If you could copy/paste the URL of the page you're being redirected to, that would help as well!

Portugal here. Next time I'll try to copy the URL. It happened to me yesterday on the main Autosport.com site (outside of the forums) too.

Yes only on mobile, I use Chrome on 2 different PCs and there it's fine.

Our ad partners have made some changes to the blacklist in the last few minutes (not just banning those URLs, but the clients who attempted to serve them) - I hope that this means that the problem is solved.

 

Please let me know if you're still seeing it...
