I am disappointed to be received spam from Autosport.

I have just received one about the Baku GP.

I don't recall signing up originally, but I certainly unsubscribed after the City Conours one last week.

I have checked my account and "Receive e-mails from specially selected partners (third party)" is unchecked - but I still receive these emails.

How do I get my email address(es) off the database once and for all?

I've just checked your member profile and there's absolutely no reason why you should be receiving promotional emails from Autosport or its partners.

So, a couple of questions.

1 You say 'address(es)' in your post. We only ever have one email registered per account, so please could you check whether these have gone to the one which is currently associated with your account.

2 What exact email address have these come from?

There are a few different ways that you can end up on our database - including your Forum account, your Autosport Plus subscription and entering our competitions (only when there's a tickbox asking whether you are happy to receive first party and third party E-mails).

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of each E-mail, and you can choose whether to to unsubscribe from particular E-mails (such as the third party E-mails) or to fully unsubscribe from anything at all from Autosport Media. If you unsubscribed after the City Concours message then you should stop getting these. Sometimes it takes a few days to process, so it's possible that the Baku E-mail went out before you'd been removed from the list.

If your E-mail is the same as the one you registered to the forum with, I can check that nothing went wrong here. I can also add you to a full exclusion list so that anything you do in the future doesn't get you added back on, so let me know if that's what you'd prefer!

Hi Grayson,

I replied to your PM about this last week but have had no reply.

Yesterday I got more spam from Autosport.

My settings are set to off, but today I get an email trying to get me to sign up to Autosport Plus.

Two days ago I get an email about Ferrari retaining Raikkonen.

A week earlier, Ferrari has found its weaknesses.

etc etc etc

Why do I continue to get these emails when my settings have them disabled, and I have followed the unsubscribe link?

It seems linked to my Autosport Plus account (I was previously a subscriber) - but when I try to login, and reset password, I get told my account is not recognised.

That's odd - I was under the impression that all of your E-mail addresses had been unsubscribed fully from all of our lists.

Please could you forward the last two E-mails to simon.grayson@autosport.com so that I can work with our data controllers to understand what's gone wrong here? That will show me which of your E-mail addresses they were going through to, but the meta-data contained in the E-mail will also let me see which campaign the E-mail was sent as part of.

It's obviously important that you can fully unsubscribe, so I will add all of your E-mails to our global suppression lists once I can identify what's going wrong.
