As said in my introduction, I'm a big Jacky Ickx fan and, if I find the time, I write articles about f1.
But since I felt that there are too little articles about Ickx to be found online I try to put some of his adventures out there too.
So, as my first ever post here, I'd like to share this one about Le Mans '69.
Which quickly became too big to be one article. So I've split it up in two.
Part one is the history of my all time favorite car. The Ford GT40.
And part two is the big adventure Ickx had with the car.
Both articles are from last year and they've been published on other blogs so it might be that some of you already came across it. For the others that haven't, I hope you enjoy it.
