Following on from the one in Pennsylvania a old rail tunnel in the Uk is going aero.

The one in Pennsylvania never had trains running through it ,i t was part of a scheme to challenge the Pennsylvania Railroad  monopoly that failed.

The UK one did have steam trains using it for many years so lots of soot cleaning first I guess.

Maybe mount all the wheels toed to one side. Yes this will screw up the aero around the tires a bit, but maybe that's okay for small angles.

I was referring to the lack of cross winds as an advantage - compared to outdoor, on-road aero testing.
