I need help!
Anyone who knows anything about the French F3 Championship 1978?
All I know is that it was a tie between Alain Prost and Jean-Louis Schlesser.

It was the first french F3 champ since petroleum shock.

 

Prost had to develop the Renault engine debut on his own at his workshop near Magny Cours and the Martini car.

 

A learning and trying year for Prost.

The F3 French championship of 1978 was not a series per se, rather a number of races pertaining to the European Championship where French drivers would score points toward a French championship (with the exception of Patrick Gaillard who was racing under a British licence).
