Hi,

 

A b&w photo of RVC 70H in an unidentified workshop turned up a while ago, and was added to my site today. I'd like to fill in some background info if possible, does anyone know who owned the car, and how it came to be in the UK, registered in/around Coventry?

 

Also, can anyone help id the car on the trailer, to the left of shot? it looks familiar but ...

1967 Racing Car Show is your lead on this.

I believe the stand had this and an Abarth Spyder next to it, Both were red.

OT a bit, perhaps, but on e bay there is a colour slide for sale showing an Abarth Periscopico? at Prescott. As with all these slides they are undated. There were some very good ones when they were biddable, but I was sniped on some, but managed to secure a handful. I will send a link Stephen, if you could be so kind as to post it. For those interested it is under seller mrswillywillmott

I have a photograph of the car at Prescott May 2nd 1971 carrying #113 but uploading a pic direct to this site isn't straightforward for an oldie. Can't find my Prescott programme at the moment but the name Laurie Bolam springs to mind.
