Sergio Sette Camâra in Spa became the youngest driver to win a F2 race with 19 years.

What Formula 2, Formula 3000 and GP2 drivers also won a race with under 20 years?

Interesting that the youngest driver to win a F2 race is older than the youngest F1 winner :rotfl:

Some names from the top of my head:

Euro F3: Verstappen (16 y.o.)

in F3000 I believe it's Tarso Marquez

Buemi might still hold the record for GP2

Have to double check

Mike Thackwell?

Probably not.  He made his F1 debut at 19 yo but I don't think he actually won in F2 until he had turned 20.

Mike Thackwell was born on the 30th March 1961 . He won the opening round of the European Formula Two Championship at Silverstone on the 29th March 1981 , the day before his 20th birthday .

in F3000 I believe it's Tarso Marquez

I think it was Marques at one point, but I'm fairly sure Alonso beat that by a few months when he won at Spa in 2000.

Rosberg had 20 years and 6 days when he won his first GP2 race.

But he also won the title that year.

I think Alonso still holds that record in all of history of F2/F3000/GP2. He won in Spa 2000, not even a full month after his 19th birthday.

What makes this even more impressive is that he won the race from pole position and with fastest lap. Hat-trick or even grand slam, I'm not sure.

Camara's victory few weeks ago was also good, but it was a sprint reverse grid race. You can't compare that to victories of Marques, Alonso and Leclerc who won main races.

But even Alonso is older than Verstappen in F1 :stoned:
