Really like the Hallets TZ350A/B. Apart from the silencers (which are a Yamaha part), rear shocks (Hagon I think) and the 'mudguard cam' looks kosher. Who is on board?

We have recently restored a 250 A and as I have a pair of those silencers I think we might try them as at the moment it is on the original pipes. We have the original shocks as well and are restoring those to 'working' condition.

Unsure of the rider. It was participating in the Retro parade lap and is not the bike listed in the program.

Indeed it was Kevin aboard, doing the parade lap - I imagine you had a few encounters with him back in the day Mick? Never met him before, so I had a little chat.

Thanks Timbo for the pictures, I was also over there. The top one (12 Chris Swallow) did the fastest ever I.O.M. lap by a Gold Star in the Senior Classic race (103mph I believe).

Hi Barry, so it was Kevin and yes had quite a few close encounters with him in the 70's
Wonder what he made of the TT course as I believe he never raced there, he was certainly very fast back in the day, I think he held the outright 350 lap record at Brands at one time !
Looking forward to catching up with him sometime for his thoughts on it, the IOM course that is.
Regarding the IOM I managed to purchase the TZ 250 V twin I raced in 91/92 which was my favourite bike round there........managed a lap of 110.93mph but still didn't win
The bike is now restored and stands on my sideboard in the lounge now !!
