Forgive me if I bring to your attention a new book just released by TNF member Michael Hipperson.

This is part 2 of Michael's life story told around the racing cars and supercars he has been fortunate enough to own during his lifetime.

Most importantly all the proceeds from the sale of this book will go to the Little Havens Hospice for seriously ill children which is based in Essex . A cause dear to Michael's heart he has tirelessly raised  more than three hundred thousand pounds for them over the last few decades to keep them doing such wonderful work.

The book in softback  is 127 pages size 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches is full of hundreds of colour photographs it is about cars, racing, travel and family delightfully easy and enjoyable to read and above all a real insight into the joys and otherwise of owning supercars and using them on a daily basis.

You can only purchase it direct from Michael by mail order via his dedicated website.

Do go and have a look you will find all the details there.  https://www.letthemstare.co.uk/

I have greatly enjoyed both Michael's volumes he is happy to tell it the way it is.Very reasonably priced  and sale of each one is a donation to a great charity.

Michael is I know far too modest to tell you this himself and I have no connection with it myself  other than perhaps being one of the 300 plus  who attended the first  book launch in April of 2016 at a pub in  deepest rural Essex - the car park being a sea of supercars - literally many millions of pounds worth , owned by friends who turned out to be  part of the story . Maybe there will be another launch party for this book Michael ?

You will I feel sure enjoy reading this- thanks.

Launching a book is one thing, but giving the proceeds to sick kids is something else!

Very well done, Michael!!!

A bit of a thread revival here. I ordered all three volumes a month or so ago as a  Christmas present to myself, and resisted the temptation to open the parcel until this morning.
Brilliant!

What a change to open a present and find that it's something you really wanted!
Thank you very much Michael, and a very Merry christmas to one and all.

My nephew and his wife sent me The GCHQ Book of Puzzles - they have a seriously over-inflated estimation of my intelligence...

My nephew and his wife sent me The GCHQ Book of Puzzles - they have a seriously over-inflated estimation of my intelligence...

My wife drew my attention to it in Waterstones last week.

At least she noticed it. My intelligence was so bad I'd walked past it without seeing it....
