I have a friend who worked with Henry in the late '70s and remembers Henry's 'production car' project, the Chimera, and he's wondering what ever became of it?

There is a Google sourced site which suggest two were produced around 1986.

So;

Were any ever up and running?

Ever registered?

Still around?

I knew that name sounded familiar, he worked with Frank Matich on the SR3.

Sorry, OT...

A completely different animal to the Nota.

The car body was pretty much a mock up when the photo was taken (late 70s for an article by Sue Ransom). Lancia HP turret and hatch. De Tomaso bonnet. Chap can’t remember what the tail lights were from… sliding windows … 3.8 litre Buick V6. 6 speed auto and the rear end was like a transaxle with drop gears for ratio changes and a 78 series Borge Warner diff with a 4 pinion carrier.
