Eldouglas, I have no beef with grid girls at all...
They are a distraction, they are usually there to promote some sponsor's wares and generally they add nothing to the motor racing scene at all.
But somebody pointed out there's a thread on Reader's Comments about this and so your thread was closed before it became another discussion about what is or is not politically correct.
That's of no use to me, of course, as I'm not allowed to post on that part of the forum.
Maybe you need to relate it to something in the past to give it a hint of nostalgia?

There were two reasons for closing your earlier thread, Doug. Firstly, as Ray says, it was about something which may be happening in F1 next year and thus not a subject for TNF.
Secondly, as Vitesse2 and others have pointed out, there is a good discussion on the matter currently going on in the Racing Comments forum, and you are very welcome to argue your case there:
