Money is money whitewaterMMll.
You're not too naïve to believe the rich wanna get richer at any costs are you?
Besides, Rolling Stone has been unreadable for years.
Of course not, not naive at all, just immensely amused.
Frankly, I like the RS, it's like anything else in life though, especially with our burgeoning media, you have to pick out the flyshit from the pepper to find anything worth reading anymore, but they do have some good stuff now and then. As Loki points out, the Penske group does own a large amount of media, and specialize in entertainment based mags. Bonus points, it's all privately owned and run, no pesky shareholders to curry favor with. The editorial changes will be interesting to see, as there surely will be.
Bottomline, I am just imagining the cringing that a herd of Columbia educated journalist new hires would emote if the big guy took him to a nice enclosed garage and fired up his 917K for the youngsters. Would they resign in protest, or run for the doors in horror of their new boss? Hopefully they turn into motor heads like the rest of us, but doubtful. Or have Juan and Helio roll in for the office party, and Kese pour drinks. The clash of classes within the group should be a reality show.
