Does a map exist for this circuit, at the eastern edge of Saint-Raphaël in the south of France? Races were held there in 1928, 1930 and 1931, won respectively by Chiron, Dreyfus and Etancelin, all in Bugattis.

Haven't found a map (yet), but there may have been at least two different circuits. And there were other races - in 1927, won by Rigal in a Peugeot - and in 1929 - 2 litre scratch race won by Lamy, handicap by Dreyfus, both in Bugattis. So French Wikipedia is wrong - the épreuve wasn't annulée. ;)

1927: 2.500 km.

1929: 2.500 km.

1930: 3.333 km.

Confirmation that the circuit length was increased in 1930, although this says to 3.300 km:

Yes, I know that... but so is Monaco! There must be a map somewhere.

Have you tried the local office de tourisme or the library and Mairie.? I had excellent results for early stuff at les Sables D'Olonne, foolishly not having a camera to snap their own photos etc, and quite incredible luck with access to archive information etc for early Nogaro races. They were all just so pleased to help.

I am planning to do that but thought that someone on here would save me the trouble!

Has anyone found anything out about this track? A map, if it exists, would be very interesting to see.

(my family have a place in Boulouris on the corniche, right by where the track supposedly was, so I am very intested to know if it passed by!)
