Looks slow.
Will probably be deceptively fast as usual.

No name change?

I like their solution for the nose - this one and Merc's are the only which don't ruin the looks IMO.
But the livery... Oh my, why so much white?
Pink could look good but with black or dark grey additions, not with white..

I like that car, easy to spot, I like the added white elements. Those sidepod intakes are tiny, but the car probably won't really get going until the Spanish GP, at which point it becomes best of the rest again. I hope this team continues to be so successful, they are fantastically well run.

The color scheme makes it look like a toy.
I think that's what I like about it. it feels fresh, fun and not so corporate. I wish them all the best this year!

Pretty in pink or not. I edited it a bit to bring out a detail or two from the more shadowy areas...

No name change?
At this point they should just call the team ‘Dave’

Which is a great name I must say, my personal favourite would be "Nigel"

Definitely an improvement livery-wise, not as monotone as the last year's one.

2018 is a good year for liveries.

Looks better than last year's livery to me, I prefer this shade of pink.

The colour is ok, but i thinik overall the car looks very messy. Like they just decided to stick their sponsors all over the place.

Aero looks interesting. Drivers very promising. Livery is great. Overalls are terrible though.
Favourite team now I have turned my back on Williams.

New Team Name Likely by Melbourne
26 February 2018
"There's a high probability that it will happen before the first race of this year," chief operating officer Otmar Szafnauer told Autosport.
"We're still working on it, we still haven't quite pinpointed what the name change will be, but we always said there will be a name change coming.
"The deadline is coming close, and like anything, the closer you get to a deadline the harder you work to make sure it happens."

I imagine the name might be "LateForce".

It’s set them back and they don’t have a limitless budget.

They could be a team in trouble. Not only because McLaren and Renault are expected to make heavy gains, but I read Force India had to build an entirely new chassis to make the halo fit. They also haven’t been as innovative with the side pods.
It’s set them back and they don’t have a limitless budget.
The structural/design issues like that, are the ones responsible for really hurting the smallest teams...
Hopefully they can battle this season with Renault, McLaren and Williams!

As a masculine man, I do like this colour scheme.

We've been saying this for the last 2 years and they still beat those teams. They have a Merc engine, as long as the chassis is decent they'll be ok

The car looks hideous on track!
It screams for black wings and halo...

The bodywork currently is from last year.
The first iteration of 2018 bodywork will come at Melbourne.
It's not ideal but we have to remember that is a privateer team.
They decided not to rush 2018 bodywork parts, it is better to do this rather than have correlation problem.
Also the temperatures from this tests make look any analysis unrelevent.
So just doing aero runs , racking up miles will be enough for now.
According to AMuS , drivers were told to cruise as they were short on parts. So lap times are quite unrelevent.
