What would FOM care how many days they make the event as long as F1 is scheduled Friday-Saturday-Sunday.
If a venue wants to make it a one week event with other racing categories / concerts, I don't see how FOM would have any say in that as long as they oblige to the F1 contract.

I guess the F1 teams need to be able to unpack their kit before Friday.

Hockenheim & Nürburgring hope for the German Grand Prix to return to the calendar, starting from 2026, rotating between them.

Makes no difference in Australia. The support categories have a whole separate pitlane. Unlike at other tracks, F2 and F3 don't need to park outside the F1 garages, they use the old Supercars pitlane. Supercars and Carrerra Cup have their own garage areas and take a different access onto the circuit. The only time the main pitlane is affected is when the cars pit and have to use the F1 pitlane to exit, but that shouldn't affect the teams' setup.

I wonder if this will be partly because of Audi sponsoring the event, like Mercedes have done in the past (2019).

Those quotes from Stefano suggests more event rotation is possible, not just between the German circuits. Add Portugal into that and I'll be happy.

Ticket sales are usually poor in Germany, and certainly have been post-Michael, but perhaps DtS will have helped.

Belgium and Zandvoort were also discussed for rotation after 2025.

Having Belgium become a rotating event is absurd, but here we are.

Having the German events rotate sounds good although I like Hockenheim more.

Despite rotation schemes offering more flesh to us fans, I am not enthousiastic about it. Mainly because any rotation scheme in the past has never really worked out.
