We discussed a driver who entered 1952 Indianapolis 500-but did not attempt(?) his Ellen Atomic Special car.
I found some new infos about him and maybe the puzzle will be complete.
He entered 1951 Carrera Panamericana auto race with his #38 1950 Mercury car but injured in Missouri before the race.
After then entered 1952 Sebring 12h with #54 Mercury(maybe same car) with Rex Easton,their result was 32nd DNF.His listed Hometown Miami,FL(!!!)
His 1952 season was busy.We know he entered Indy 500,and maybe-a notified thinks- Raleigh Indy event in July with his Ellen Atomic Spl(what?)In this time his hometown was Chicago,IL.
In 1954 he entered IMCA Winternational in Tampa with his #62 Hudson car.His listed hometown:Coconut Grove,FL
Entered again in 1955 IMCA Winternational with #64 Hudson-his hometown again Coconut Grove,FL
