According to TSL it did . I haven't bought an Autosport since last July but after a sneaky look in last weeks issue I couldn't see the result of the Silverstone 24 Hours just a report . Who is making these decisions ?

Were there reports of the Oulton meeting or the Silverstone Rallycross ?

All printed magazines have a great dilemma, trying to work out what their place is amidst instant information on the net. Autosport needs to keep its nerve and understand that factual, chronological and readable race reports are still in demand. They've effectively ditched their Grand Prix reports, using an excellent reporter (Ben Anderson) to write a glorified gossip column instead. If they lose their grip on reporting club racing then they'll be in a very sad state indeed.

Not for the club meetings, no. Last year they separated them out from the reports, and put them on a dedicated results page (to make them difficult to find) which they've now dropped entirely. Doh. They did have a naff panel listing winners only at Oulton.

In the main section of the mag they had a panel with the first three from random races, some of which also had reports and others didn't - Nascar did, Moto2 & 3 didn't and Argentine TC200 did. Doh again.

Okay so almost any result is available online but does every motorsport enthusiast have access to the net ? What are they putting in the space they have saved by not printing results ? Another meaningless effwun picture ? So many questions - I doubt we'll receive any answers .

Timing Solutions Limited supply most clubs with timing , MSTWorld supply the HSCC , S.M.A.R.T. Timing Scottish championship meetings and Darlington & District Motor Club ,HS Sports are the VSCC's timers while on the continent R.I.S. Timing , Race Results .nu and Race Results .at seem to cover a large number of Central and Northern European meetings . It's still sad to me that Autosport have seen fit to drop their results section . A lot of other sports may have their results online but their publications still print the results . Imagine the outcry if the Racing Post stopped printing racing results !

And in case you were wondering , yes I am an anorak and proud of it although it appears I may be part of a dying breed !!

I live in the Canaries Rob, where my service provider is Telefonica. Telefonica will not connect to Zinio as it's considered a non secure site.

Of course, this does not detract from the fact that Autosport no longer has club racing results, which frankly, is a disgrace. I can only imagine that Motorsport.com whose philosophy is one of greed, are attempting to force, by stealth, a further subscription to one of their titles. This inevitability has been obvious for some time.

Having a sneaky look at Autosport in the supermarket I noticed that Autosport very kindly printed in their 'results section' where the full results could be found .

The Motorsport.tv team are working on the issue - we're hoping to be back up and running by the weekend.
