That's fine with me. So if that's okay with others, I'll go ahead and set things up. I'll need two or three days.

In the meantime, please leave feedback on the template to be used.

Perfect.

For Paint users like me, current templates are difficult to work with so I hope the competition would accept Paint friendly templates as well. I still have the Paint friendly template (that I had prepared for previous competition) and if the competition is okay with it, I can share it.

I really hope we can avoid multiple templates making the rounds.

Can you tell what problems you encounter using Paint? Perhaps some steps can be taken to address those issues.

Thanks for your effort NS. And I, as a paint user myself, don't get what the problem is with GoldenStoffels template.

Oh my cod

This is a roeful idea.

Posters need to know their plaice and stop carping on about this.

We can't change history just for the halibut.

If we did the whole concept will flounder.

Let's scale back on the puns a bit; there are bigger fish to fry!

And I, as a paint user myself, don't get what the problem is with GoldenStoffels template.

There was a bit of an issue last year with the template containing some anti-aliasing artefacts, which made the lines a bit messy to fill with the Paint bucket tool.

I did a bit of testing in Windows 10 Paint, and this doesn't seem to affect this year's - very high resolution! - PNG template. I've made a smaller JPG template as well that doesn't have this issue either; and it's still something like 2500 or 3000 pixels wide.

I'm still waiting for one addition to the opening post, but other than that it's mostly ready. I expect to open the competition thread sometime tomorrow morning.

There's the rub for me 2500 to 3000 pixels wide? This when you consider the average screen resolution is 1366 x 768. The mistake people make is that they think the more pixels the better. Ask your sell this if you have an image that is 26000 pixels x 7000 pixels what happens to all the other pixels on a 1366 x 768 monitor?

That is exactly my problem last year. I will try new template to see if it is fixed.

Never thought I'd see people complain the template being too high def.

You can downscale the template to whatever size you wish, even with MS Paint.
