Hi Jim,
Are you talking about the Autosport App from the Google Play store?
What sort of images are you talking about - is it everything? So images on the home page, in stories, etc?
We've made some changes to the way that the images "lazy load" (ie. they don't load until you scroll down to them to save your data), so it sounds like this may be a side effect...

I was browsing the McLaren thread expecting to see loads of photos of the new upgrades.. nose etc. But could only see the gif and the 1993 McLaren. Open the same page in chrome on my phone and see everything. http://forums.autosp...art-iii/page-33

Ah - do you mean the "forum" images (eg. people's avatars) are loading but embedded images from places like Twitter aren't?
That's nothing to do with our lazy-loading, so I'll see if we can figure out what else might be causing it...

Is it just the ones embedded from twimg (images hosted by Twitter)?
If you go directly to this URL, what happens?

I have the same issue *sometimes* too. But only in the latest FireFox on a Win10 machine.
For me the issue was and is related to an ad tracking disabler called Disconnect .
Since I am an Autosport subscriber and logged in, in both parts (Autosport and the forum), ads are off in the forum.
When I simply rely on another, the Avast ad tracker, things are ***seemingly*** fine. Meaning images are loading
However Firefox shows then 3 very irritating messages in the console.
Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtm.js?id=GTM-TLC5DZ”. page-33:1 Source map error: request failed with status 404 Resource URL: http://cdn.images.autosport.com/standards/js/jquery-1.9.1.min.js Source Map URL: jquery.min.map[Learn More] Loading failed for the <script> with source “http://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1&appId=”. page-33:1 Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js”.
The jQuery message is fine with me, as that is only interesting for the developers, but the other 3 not.
Is it possible to nix Google and Facebook completely from this forum, an option in the user settings, at least as a paying Autosport customer?
