I guess no one remembers what happened to champcar when they abandoned the events they were built upon and went to mostly street races.

I think the generic IndyCar 2018 thread would be fine. Having a versus thread sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Nope, the point is precisely NOT to clutter up "OUR" IndyCar threads with such disasters!!
