Zanardi this week

2 hours long.

A great, great episode. Top 5% from the series.

It was a wonderful interview, 2 hours just flew by. Alex is a great man. I wish every driver was this honest and open. For me, it was the best so far.

Agree completely. I was a tiny, tiny bit apprehensive at the start, mainly because I'm quite young and felt I mightn't be able to fully relate, but as soon as Alex got started it just flowed and flowed.

His story telling and framing was superb. His personality just shines through. A dash of Italian flair throughout.

The Ken Tyrrell story was my highlight.

Alex is the only person in motorsports I would consider a "hero" to me and I love any interview with him. So glad they got him on the F1 podcast.

It always was a team to never take serious. "We could win our first race.."
16 races on: 0 points scored.

Yet by the end of their second season, they were equal 4th in the WCC. Though I guess you're right, 90% of that was down to Villeneuve performing to an outrageous level in 2000.

Looking forward to listening to the Zanardi podcast. The definition of inspirational and legendary. His story transcends motorsport.

Zanardi's phone call with Briatore is priceless.

Halfway through the Zanardi pod, absolutely superb so far. He doesn’t really need any questions asked, he’s loaded and ready to go with really detailed fascinating anecdotes - I’m amazed much detail he can recall from 29 years ago!
