Anyone know of a cheap way to get from Budapest airport to the circuit as quickly as possible? The event organisers seem to have buses going from the city centre not the airport.
Shared a cab with other travellers in 2016. Pretty cheap.

I'll be surprised if Red Bull isn't the team to beat around here.

Do you ever support anyone that isn’t Finnish?

sadly no direct route. if you insist on public transport, 100E bus to "deák ferenc tér", M2 metro to "örs vezér tere", H8 suburban railway to szilasliget, half hour walk to the gate at the final corner. adds up to about 2 hours and a bit.
or M2 to "puskás ferenc stadion" where we have a big bus station, I think the free buses depart from there.

Agreed....RBR will put other teams to the belt this week...I'll be surprised if Red Bull isn't the team to beat around here.

Any old excuse not to talk to the media, shameful!
Sending my respects to Marchionne's family.

Silence can be an act of mourning.
Silence can also be an act of deflecting questions about strategy, crashes and blown wings

As much as I'd love Seb to bounce back, the championship will benefit from another RBR win, particularly if Max does it.

Maybe, but you can also see it as showing respect to the family to not talk about these matters in this week. I suspect Ferrari will only do what is necessary to have a good race weekend, hope for a win to honour Sergio Marchionne and skip the rest of the circus this weekend.

Why not give it to Kimi as well this weekend..

Why not give it to Kimi as well this weekend..
Because they live test it with the customer teams then if everything is ok it is installed in both Ferrari cars.
They did the same with the Spec2.

The same guy also tweeted its worth 40 hp 😂Spec3 for Sauber/Haas this weekend, Ferrari will get it the next race.
Are there actually people who believe claims like that ?? No way can a team find 40 hp mid season when these engines already have been developed for 5 years.
Another bullshit claim. Like ferraris canada upgrade which was rumoured to be 15-20 hp...in the end it was about 5 hp.

I know.
Lets hope Kimi's spec1 can handle the 8th weekend in a row then.
If spec3 is significant update over spec2 ( and evwn more so on spec1) we can excpect Haas and Sauber be a surprises this weekend.

Yeah if it would be 40hp, Haas and Sauber would fight on podium/win.

Yeah if it would be 40hp, Haas and Sauber would fight on podium/win.
It was reported spec 2 couldn't have all the updates that Ferrari wanted to put into it, so they would have to wait for spec 3, but 40hp is surely too much.
It will be interesting as I don't think Mercedes can handle more pressure than the one they have now.

Embarrassed? He's probably getting tons of attention now and the 40hp boost claim will be treated as gospel.

Red Bull with a golden opportunity but Ricciardo hampered, back to PU1.
Hamilton in the wings, waiting to pounce.
On a great circuit, great fans, and ridiculous heat. Can't wait for FP1.
Sunday forecast for 33°C!!!

2011, 2014 and 2015 may have good ones. I hesitate because my memory's a bit shaky there.

That would pretty much mean Verstappen and Hamilton in the front row. Which would be pretty bad around here for Seb as you cant overtake and it makes his mistake in Germany look even more stupid

I hope Seb has the weekend of his career getting pole and winning the race in dominant fashion just so you stop being so negative. And this is coming from someone who's rooting for Merc...

What are the chances that both Haas and Sauber cars don't have an issue with the new Spec3? Maybe Ferrari's reason to hold off.
Are Haas hampered aero wise/ high downforce ala Monaco? I forgot what happened with the FIA ruling.
