Yes the track is distinctly three dimensional. I really didn't know what to expect but this does seem pretty dramatic.

Track looks good,but the qualy/race format sounds like everybody throwing in ideas and at the end not sorting it out,leaving everything in .... sounded too complicated,and i don't like the voting thing.Maybe they can gain more audience with that ?

But there is Jenson,Loeb,Sainz and many more ..... ofcourse i'm watching this.Probably they are counting on this,so many great drivers.

It does sound a bit complex - maybe to generate excitement if wheel to wheel racing doesn't materialise? I will approach with an open mind and hope to be entertained.

This Stage is very tricky, would be not surprised to see more drama tomorrow as the drivers starts to push for lap time

And yeah, the Format sounds a little bit complex, but i'm sure we'll get it right away once we start watching the action tomorrow.

Loved the Time Trials last time around, proper edge of the seat stuff. :up:

The head to head racing didn't turn out great due to the massive dust clouds, but this could change in Senegal!

ONBOARD TRACK PREVIEW

Literally racing on the beach, should make for amazing backdrops with the Ocean.
Faster course, very smooth first & last section, super bumpy middle sector, two little jumps

Should be good.

I did semi-deliberately title the thread for the first round to be applicable to the whole inaugural season as a bit of an insurance bet in case this became a one-thread-for-the-season thing

A shame they are again on a very loose surface. I suspect the racing will be terrible again due to visibility.

I hope they think about making the tracks smaller and having more laps in future, but I'll be watching with interest again

Alejandro Agag's third electric sporting project looks like it has come out of a Star Wars film.

The UIM E1 World Electric Powerboat Series will reportedly share a base with Extreme E on the St Helena (my justification for inclusion in this thread), holding electric powerboat racing at major ports and coastal cities around the world.
