I like the tires. It's like going back to F1 or something in 1967. Nice a low grip so drivers have to work at it.
But also genuinely road relevant. All-weather, normal sized and longer lasting than regular race tires. Michelin have been working on improving performance whilst also intending the lifetime and reducing the weight. Indeed they've shaved off multiple kilos across the whole set since FE began and drivers say the tires are better. I believe they one day aim make a set that will last a whole season without compromising performance. If I walked into a tire shop next week and I was asked if I'd like new Formula E derived Michelins... I'm nearly ashamed to admit I'd probably say "hell yes".

I agree. Formula E brings newelty & sci-fi concepts, but has got a very
old style racing feel attached to it.
The atmosphere there, between the drivers, is like the old days of F1.
The FE circus is like a big family, were everyone hangs out with anyone.
I love seeing drivers fighting with the steering wheel every turn, sliding, battling close, and Formula E is just like that.
Low grip-road relevant tyres, low aero yet good acceleration & very decent top speed now with Gen 2. I don't need more!
We see today's F1 are planted. They may be the fastest ever F1 cars, but (apart from Monaco),
you cannot even feel they're on the limit. On most of the circuits they even look boring, on rails!
