No, nothing like that at all...
Zero happens, no scrolling, no posting, no highlighting, nothing, until I click on the desktop and come back to the browser. I thought I explained that.

Sorry, it wasn't clear as I am using Firefox 63.03 and W10 Version1089 and experienced only those minor issues that have since been corrected.

That doesn't sound like something that any ads on the site should be able to do - especially now that they're served out of "safe frames".
Roughly how often does it happen? Do you ever have the same problem on the main Autosport site (if you ever use it) or any other sites? Could you let me know the Firefox version number you're using (it should be visible from the about Firefox menu)? I'll see if I can replicate the problem so that the developers have something to go on...

Doesn’t work like that on my iPad. It blocks the “switch to full mode” button at the bottom when the screen defaults to mobile. These ads are annoying enough that i don’t enjoy posting here any more.Everything should now be fixed, so we're putting the sticky banner ads (the ones appearing at the bottom of the screen) live again.
We've tested these in a number of different browsers, devices, operating systems, etc. but that's never going to be a match for thousands of forum members hitting the site so please let me know if anything is still broken.
If you have this problem then you should be able to scroll the screen down slightly so that the ad is no longer at the same level as the post button or the emojis. Or at least, that's how it's been working on every browser variation I've been able to test so far, so let me know if I'm missing something...

With me, on mobile the "back button" on the lower left side is covered by an ad again.

Not sure if this is unique to me, however recently sometimes when posting, the text in the posting box is gray rather than black. When hitting the post button the posted text turns black but the posting window remains open with original post text in gray. As if it's not recognizing that the post was submitted and leading to double posts if unaware. Back arrow seems to be only out when this occurs.

Could you let me know what type of pop-ups? Is it something that's covering content, something that's taking you away from the page, something that's opening in a new window, etc.
Could you also let me know what device you're using and where in the world you are?
Hopefully we can track these down and fix them...

Your own irritating ad as well... I think it was before the Autosport show, I got a major pop-up on the site when visiting on my phone, about tickets to the show. Fair enough, but the pop-up would not close done, whatever I did. I clicked the 'x'. Nothing happened. I could scroll etc. on the webpage though, but the ad was blocking what I wanted to click on. So I had to click on something unrelated (did anyone say a waste of free article?) to then get the ad away and get where I actually wanted.
That's a good job...

Was given a link from another forum, which was from the classic.autosport url.
Got the pop-up about having 10 free articles left - that's fine. Except, it is not possible to remove. Even when clicking "X" it just doesn't go away. So it will stay over parts of the article. This keeps getting better guys...
