Lol Bottas at his prime isn't as good as current Kimi as almost 40 y old.
No chance, Kimi can't even challenge a poor Vettel. And Kimis statistic looks really poor, only one lucky win in his Ferrari time from 2014 up until now.

Bets on Hamilton having yet another suppost engine issue, so that Bottas gets finally his Sochi win back (assuming he doesnt win the start).
Ferrari should be able to do something at the start. And Verstappen something in the first stint: How well he progresses there will be decisive for his chances. I still dont think that starting on Hypersoft is on the Red Bull a real disadvantage. If it is, then it could be Ricciardo's chance (finally).
Rooting for Alonso to finish in the points, although it's unfortunately unlikely.
Would be highkey amusing if this of all races has rain

from amus:
At HaasF1 one wonders how fast the other Ferrari customer Sauber is on the straights. "They take us three to five tenths in the full throttle sections," marveled HaasF1 team manager Guenther Steiner. The top speeds confirm that. The Sauber are 6 to 8 km / h faster.
I think something is going on with engine modes on the Sauber, maybe it’s become effectively Ferrari B team.

I guess 'Hamilton' will behave a bit odd on track today.

Very subdued atmosphere. Hopefully Ricciardo can challenge for victory.
Last race of the season should be on a track with some atmosphere and great die-hard f1 fans a la Brazil. Suzuka or Mexico would also be great. Not Abu Dhabi where some rich oil guys blow some expensive fireworks into the air.
Same bizarre decision with the upcoming 1000th race. Saying it will be very special and historic and then plan it so that China will host the 1000th race. .

My money is on a Hamilton DNF due to them being too stubborn to change that old, tired engine.
EDIT
Is "classified - no" ok to bet as a DNF?

Mercedes' mechanics are working frantically on Hamilton's W09 ahead of the final race of the season. Hamilton has already had to change elements of his engine ahead of the race and Mercedes will be hoping for a quick fix before lights out.
And there it starts

On Spanish TV there's a running joke with de la Rosa, because he never gets the weather prediction right (Toni Cuquerella for example, ex Ferrari and Kubica engineer and also a comentator, always says that what de la Rosa does, getting it systematically wrong, is just as hard as getting it always right).
So de la Rosa got asked last GP how's the weather going to be in Abu Dhabi. He said not rain obviously, and how he would at least get that one right, since it's the desert. They couldn't stop laughing at him today

Out of frustration from those desperate for someone to stop the Hamilton juggernaut.
I'm very much pro Hamilton I love nothing more than his recent form, I just get frustrated seeing such a clear second tier driver divvying around in a top tier car.

Very unusual to see Lewis on form with both championships decided!
Nice to end the previous form of going off the boil after wrapping things up in previous years. There's been a noticeable change in the way he speaks and conducts himself at this stage of the season this year. I suspect it's his age and fully realising he's reaching the tail end of his career and seems to take a bit more pride in representing the team and maximizing all the pole and win records while he's still racing.
I have a new pet-theory which is going to carry me through the winter: Hamilton has ~finally~ realized that Schumachers records are up for grabs. So there won't be any more 'calling it in'.
(Mind you, my previous pet-theory was that Vandoorne is actually better than Alonso coz none other than Alain Prost said so to a Belgian news-outlet. The one before that involved Scarlett Johansson and is not fit for publication in this forum)
