Honoring a fallen pilot?
Yes, I thought of that E1. But I don't think that the 'missing man' is a Brit tradition, like it is in the USA? I could be wrong there, though.

I think 9 is normal for the Reds - hence their Diamond Nine formation.

Never mind the boat John , just look at the glorious Lamborghini 350GT , from a time long before Lambos became shouty toys for the Cote de South Kensington set
Well, I suppose in the circumstances it deserves a post of its own rather than playing understudy to the Riva....

Not my cup of tea, I fear. The headlights ruin what would have otherwise been a reasonably good looking car. But Lambo styling has always been suspect IMO, apart from the wondrous Miura of course.

Au contraire -AH is a litte too gamine to my eyes . If we are talking Nostalgia I'd suggest an Avengers spec Diana Rigg , Or was it her perfect white Lotus Elan that kept me awake? I say white , but there were only two colours on our TV at the time , so who knows ?
AH undeniably pretty (apart from that hairstyle), Francoise Hardy does nothing for me either; Diana Rigg, on the other hand..
But if we're talking Nostalgia, it's Lillian Gish all the way . (Navy Lark fans will know what I mean)

Yes, functional, very appealing functionality...
Not, however, gorgeous except when looking at the function.

I'd love to get my hands on one of these. They're actually quite affordable for such a nice classic.

You mean the Gp C cars used between '83 and '86?

Was the Lancia Flavia ever sold in the U.S?.
They could have sold a lot when the econo-box fever hit in the early seventies.
But then the asinine bumper rules were puked on the U.S. industry then also.
