Thank you, danmills, for researching this for us. Could you try sitting in it to see whether it removes tattoos, please?

Hehe, I'm equally keen to discover if these uber-natural-premium-energy-giving ingredients have any effects beyond placebo...

They are currently operating and dispatching from a Big Yellow Self Storage facility in Richmond. Not quite sure on the legality on that, am sure you can store carbonated drinks no problem, but I always thought there were regulations for climate control on perishable goods, regardless of being sealed or long life.

I'm pretty sure canned drinks can be stored at room temperature as they appear to be at any supermarket.

Are you referring to a past scam or a present one?

We don't know if current is a scam, lets state that clear first, but it's about the current situation.

It seems, and quite logic, that if Haas get's 15 million from Rich Energy but it's clear they can't have that from own sales, they have a obligation to be "secure" (you can't ever be total, but only, receiving the money and/or a checked (bank) guarantee for it isn't a defense if it's meant for laundering) it's "clean" money. That's to have the investors info and amount invested on paper and a dossier they invest legit in the compagnie you start doing business with.

In a youtube video he claims they sold 30 and other time 50 million can's. I don't believe that at all (nobody does as far i know), and Haas for instance should have asked proof for such claim (according to some at least) for instance. And being confronted on this much questionable stuff, the alarm bells should go of at Haas HQ i would think, and logically could a court judge same if it turns all out to be a scam of some sort.

If we can deconstruct all this in a couple day's just in a forum, some basic checks from Haas should have lead to questions like we now have which for sure would result in first more checks and 100% security of the situation you go in to.

There is another existing lawsuit in the making they have with another company that has 'been going on for a few years'. Don't want to mention names, not sure what issues might occur doing so, but it seems Rich have been skipping and dancing over that for a while too according to the source.

Either way, case in point, the exposure from this has worked. If they walk away with no pen to paper, its job done on their front really. Look at the exposure, 3 teams. About as many cases of their drink they've probably ACTUALLY sold lol (one of which was to me).

They’ve completely disappeared from my amazon now, can’t even see them listed. Must have only had enough stock for a car boot sale!

I'd be careful about drinking too much of it - ingredients in energy drinks, while uncontrolled (in the US, at least) can be pretty potent, even toxic for some.

That would make sense. Included in my case appeared to be a delivery slip from a subsequent minor distribution dated 14th November 2018 to Amazon Warehouse in London from Richmond. It seems there were only 20 units supplied.

Being the last of the current stock, they must have bunged all the info with my shipment to clear the shelves.

That's how I saw the stock location address. So much info from so little!

Look/read now back what is on Haas their website about the deal: https://www.haasf1te...m-title-partner

Rich Energy, currently available in over 30 countries worldwide?? Really?

Rich Energy utilizes a cutting edge £50m manufacturing facility (Translate, let's it produce in a white-brand factory)

The UK connection: cans are made in the UK

Rich Energy enjoys the highest available certification in the EU and US?? What certification? I have the highest available certification of the "maxioos forum certification classification system" Doesn't say anything, empty words.

Ok. the only thing I know about hedge funds is there should be loads of money sloshing around, so Haas should be fine - good news.

Next year's account filing should be interesting. Somewhere, someone has surely handed over a rather large sum of cash without having their name in the board.

It'll take some explaining otherwise!

I am still intrigued who's idea it was to brand and tag as a 'british born / made product' and all the union jack logos when the ingredients are secret and likely not british at all; the water used probably isn't british and and they pride on being bottled in a top facility in Austria. There is literally nothing British about the product itself, besides maybe the creators passport.

Right...

Should be a perfect fit for the American Haas team then whose car is designed and built in Italy (although to be fair, you could say this about a couple of other F1 teams)

Yeah, Rich Energy has zero legs to stand on. Quoting the 2nd article,

The basic change that occurs is small enough that it creates the same commercial impression. Alteration in this manner is copyright infringement.

Ah ha! ZZ-Top went to St.Andrews Uni. That explains alot. I know a guy who went there and became a 'serial entrepreneur' too. (read: mid 30's bloke, full of manure, can't hold down a job (never 'challenging' enough, apparently), string of startups that failed within a year due to his bone idleness, lives with mum and dad).

At least Hayseed Dixie over here has something to his name. Even if it's just a ruse.

More info, but in Dutch: https://www.demorgen...leden-b6fc04ab/

He was recently sentenced and had to go to jail for 2 years. Last year he wanted euthanasia and stated that if he had to jail he'd rather kill himself.

Intrigued by your valued contributions above, for the first time I've Google'd around a little. Just some interesting findings.

From Haas' site: ...pure mineral water with optimal composition from a natural Alpine spring to luxury organic sugar cane... Does not sound very British, does it? https://www.haasf1te...m-title-partner . Wouldn't mind a cachaca or aguardente, myself.

Now, this City Veteran, he changed positions so often it would be difficult to determine he ever achieved anything. Looking at his bloated LinkedIn profile, Technical Director(?)"George Best the movie" seems to be his most recent achievement: https://www.linkedin...pinto-46a53214/ in addition to "working with interesting people". The latter seems to be rather appropriate.

It is difficult to understand the companies size, reading "SME Size Micro – Less than 10 employees or turnover under £2 million" on https://suite.endole...-energy-limited for company information.

I would be honestly sad when Haas, running an impressive business successfully, and investing so much in his F1 adventure, turns into a victim of a Van Rossem style scam.

Prove me it is not a scam and I'll buy you a tray. If I find a way to buy it, that is :(.

It's also possible this isn't so much a scam as a really badly managed product marketing plan.

Another way to say it is the old saying: Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence.

Isn‘t that Hanlon‘s Razor? But yeah, that‘s certainly an option as well. At this point, I‘m pretty much willing to just wait and see what happens next. Not my circus, and so on and so forth.

But the onus is on you to prove it is indeed a scam.  It would be like me saying to you "prove to me you're not a criminal".  It certainly is a bizarre situation with this Rich Energy bunch.  Little to no product, no depth of distribution, big market claims but really nothing to back it up.  It's either a fumbled or slow to launch startup or some sort of tax shelter or toy or something.  About the worst that happens to Haas is they livery the team, change the name then the deal craters early in the season.  As they'd need unanimous consent to change the name and livery I could see Big Stroll saying "hey dudes, remember us?" when it comes time to vote.

'Luxury' sugar lol, i'll have to get myself some of that.

I cannot believe Haas would have let it go this far without doing due dilligence or seeing some actual money, so I can only presume man with hair does have a lot of personal wealth or has received some investment. There's no way the company can be making enough money to pay an F1 title sponsorship yet.

Trying to put the cart before the horse and hoping the exposure will help the product sell so they can afford to pay the bills maybe?

Pulling the cart before the horse is exactly what one of their current lawsuit fellows believes they are doing, having got free exposure from three teams with no known commitment yet.

I'm curious how much of their media is real or photoshopped. I see the product in casino photos but these are candid like they snuck it there and selfie'd the can.

And pics of Kate Upton etc at celebrity events and RE is on the sponsor board behind these. That surely costs millions to do?

My guess is it's not Photoshop'd - they simply slipped the bar staff a few notes, whilst the place was closed, to let them load the shelves, take the photo and return everything back to normal before the punters arrived.

Personally, I liked the Penthouse, Rizla and John Player Special racing liveries.

More F1 cars with black and gold is not a bad thing.

And frankly I could care less who pays for it.

If Haas gets burned, his stupid.

But he's not been known for being that.

They "sponsored" a poker tournament i think. It's not a nightclub or casino on it's own.

Looking at their accounts up to September 2017...

Intangible assets of £1.7m - Presumably what they are valuing the brand at?

£8,750 of stock - About 4 pallets

£581 in cash !!!!!

Owed £1m

Owes £1.3m

I'm no expert so I might be reading it wrong.

This and Red Bull aswell, isn't it a bloody fantastic business??

Produce a can that costs 0,01 or 0,02€ Sell it for 3 or 4€ - Profit margin of 200000% or 250000 if I got my calculations right.

And sell it like it is the magic potion of Asterix that makes you a superman and/or gives you wings to fly, so 3/4€ seems a bargain and not a scam at all - And the reality its not a magic potion but a barely legal stimulating drug that is obviously not good for health.

Mateschitz is a marketing all time great, thats for sure

It was already the most popular drink in Thailand, Mateschitz IIRC jumped in and bought half the company took it to Europe and carbonated it.

Within Thailand RB was already massive.

Sure, I knew that, its Krating Daeng

krating-daeng-thai-red-bull.jpg

However mateschitz took it and marketed it in a whole new level. He sold is as some sort of a "legal drug" for night life and parties.
Before it was sold as some kind of a medicine.

The result of that we all know it, he does not seem to be able to know how to spend his fortune with.
