Intangible assets of £1.7m - Presumably what they are valuing the brand at?

I don't know about their base of operations, but I imagine one would need to provide at least some sort of support for such claims. Either to accountants, banks or the tax man.

I wonder what the actual deal with Haas is in this case?! A profit share for Haas of Rich energy profits or something?!

But the onus is on you to prove it is indeed a scam. It would be like me saying to you "prove to me you're not a criminal". It certainly is a bizarre situation with this Rich Energy bunch. Little to no product, no depth of distribution, big market claims but really nothing to back it up. It's either a fumbled or slow to launch startup or some sort of tax shelter or toy or something. About the worst that happens to Haas is they livery the team, change the name then the deal craters early in the season. As they'd need unanimous consent to change the name and livery I could see Big Stroll saying "hey dudes, remember us?" when it comes time to vote.

It’s worth remembering that BMW, hardly an inexperienced company, got stung trying to sell Sauber to a very dodgy investment group called QADBAK where the representative had already been banned from owning businesses in the U.K. or something similar. People will believe what they want when they really need something. Though it says something that Williams has the opportunity but didn’t sign them up

Quotes from "Role Models" seem to be in order here:

"We're selling them nuclear horse piss for six bucks a can, what an accomplishment."

"Jeez, it's like Shrek's piss."

Maybe Williams did not want to have a black car

Looking at the finances, i wonder if they are registered elsewhere

All of which has nothing to do with this sponsorship deal.   These guys are paying to have a team branded with their product.  I know in F1 these days the concept of having someone other than the team owner as the primary sponsor all season may seem foreign but that's how the rest of motorsport has been working over the last few decades.

Based on what the talking heads on Sky said Haas poached the deal from Williams.  Riddle me this, all else the same would it be better to sponsor the 5th place team (with 93 points) that could be the best of the rest or the team that was dead last with 7 points and doesn't show signs of improving?  They even got beat by the team that lost all the points accumulated in the first part of the season.  Could it be that because Williams is stinking the joint up (so bad the funder of one of the pay drivers bought an entire team rather than have him remain) wasn't that attractive of a proposition for Storey?  Williams had no issue taking SMP money, no reason it should be any different taking Storey's money.  Except that Rich Energy isn't being internationally sanctioned.

Nothing to do with this case? I disagree. Both BMW and Haas claimed they did due diligence and everything was fine. The former case shows even sensible experienced companies can err. I think it’s highly relevant.

With what Haas themselves published on their press release, i have to agree with you.

Would they write and spread it if they didn't believe it? Public there is no proof at all for the 30 countries claim. Still they spread it.

From previous post:

Look/read now back what is on Haas their website about the deal: https://www.haasf1te...m-title-partner

Rich Energy, currently available in over 30 countries worldwide?? Really?

Rich Energy utilizes a cutting edge £50m manufacturing facility (Translate, let's it produce in a white-brand factory)

What is Rich Energy?

Rich Energy comes from the ancient Greek Ploúsiaenérgeias (you should take notes), Ploúsiaenérgeias means the science of Ice, Water and Fire. And it is there, in ancient Greece the true meaning is found. Through a twenty six hundred year journey we’re going to take together from the ancient Greeks through Isaac Newton to Niels Bohr to Erwin Schrodinger to the Dutch researchers that Rich Energy is currently ripping off.

Yeah, he parks it each night, down by the river.

He's only allowed in the paddock because Chase Carey also uses facial hair as a crutch.

So apparently it was taken in Brisbane, Australia.
Some people on the internet have worked out it’s probably this guy -> https://au.linkedin....ie-puz-0a976578 - the director of rich energy (he lives out there)

Judging by the strong vibes we’ve been getting that Rich energy is run by a skeleton crew it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the extent of their advertising campaign in Oz - one man one van. They have more vans than cans in stock!

Hehe, I'm equally keen to discover if these uber-natural-premium-energy-giving ingredients have any effects beyond placebo...

"The sole objective was to create a peerless, ultra high quality energy drink with none of the downsides of the competition, a crisp clean taste and high performance."

That's just stupid. I kind of enjoy some (sugar free) energy drinks, but it sure as hell isn't because I want something ultra premium and natural.

Rich are likely reading these and other message boards. They just uploaded a photo of all the crates they’ve had shipped over on palettes, right after we query their capacity and shipment details. Coincidence? 🤣

And if you can change, on the partners page, "SMB Monaco" to "SBM Monaco" that'd more correct.

Why not whole brand if starting anyway. Some suggestions; "No Energy" "Low Energy" "Poor Energy"
