Jelley unlucky, Tordoff unlucky, Plato back to the back of the grid. Is this 2018?

Feels like deja vu from last year - Jack Goff and Josh Cook going quickly on slicks...

Doesn't look like a very hurried pitstop for Plato.

This will make the grid for race two rather interesting, to say the least.

I am not really understanding what's happening to be honest, but I am entertained.

I'm surprised none of the former leading group pitted. But now they've left it too late, there's too few laps left to make it worth it.

Motorbase always seem to have something go wrong every time they're doing well.

Crazy result. Cook nearly c*cked himself there with the blue flags.

Neal best of the wet-shod cars. The RWD cars on wets seemed to struggle even more in these conditions.

Turkington out the points too - and of course, bad luck (again) for both Plato and Tordoff. Race two will be very interesting with some fast guys starting way back.

Hardly surprising with a field that big. Plus an excess of ambition over expertise and experience.

Yeah, that marijuana leaf wasn't particularly discreet. Not long before advertising restrictions apply I suspect.

I hope not. Current society has a paradoxal tendency to ban what aids and what is natural with false, hollow zeal.

Big up to diverse ads man.

Surprised at how much Cook was able to pull away - but Sutton and Jordan starting to close up now, this will get good...

You may recognise Tom Chilton, Max’s older brother, and Nick Hamilton, Lewis’ younger brother.

Also that dude that was constantly being confused with Martin Brundle back in the 90's.

And Turkington if you unironically watched WTCC in 2009 or 2010.

I was sceptical that the new BMW would be up to speed so quickly, but now WSR look like championship favourites. Sutton showing his class as usual.
