In the past few days have been encountering a rash of "the site had problem & it had to reload" messages.

Consequently, this has caused an increasingly irritating loss of stuff as I'm writing it.

(Waddaya know, it just happened again  )

Also, when working on an old PC with "antiquated" versions of Firefox and I.E. nevertheless was vouchsafed a version of this site that had the "Restore" feature that allayed some of the above-described frustration.

For whatever reason, it isn't available when the BB is accessed via iPad & Safari.

Why?

Have figured out the reason for the constant reloads: it's Safari.

As D. Boon sez: "She's dead to me now."

It would still be nice to know how come the "Restore" feature isn't available, however...

Well, turns out that Safari had its problems, but there are definitely issues related to the site.

Have already had a few reloads using what I assume is Chrome, and after they happen a general freeze descends on the ability to type in the post field.

Signing out helps.

Not sure if it's a cookie issue or not (things were going swimmingly until I accepted), or with ads, or with images... :well:

So...

It's now 2019.

Anybody care to offer some insight as to why there is no "Restore" function when dealing with the forum interface via an iPad?
