Goodbye to the not good enough pay rider. He could try MotoE now, maybe.Apparently Abraham told fans at Brno today that Avintia dumped him yesterday, by e-mail no less.
Having a good generation of riders is key. UK had them back then just like USA had them in the 80s and Italy had Agostini and Rossi an then spain has had Pedrosa/Lorenzo and now Marquez. If you can spare 5 minutes, this video is very entertaining and informative.
Question - the UK was the dominant country in motorcycling up into the 1950's but you'll notice after they got to 138 wins, it basically took them 60 years to get another win. What happened to cause such a gap in-between wins?
Riders talent matters a lot in MotoGP.
