Does anyone know where is the best place to watch MotoGP in the UK if they don't have BT Sports? I no longer have the channel anymore. It would be good if anyone can let me know even via PM :).

Anyone?

Did MM set the fastest lap before or after he went down?

After all this talk of how this should be the closest MotoGP season ever, I'll find it somewhat of an anticlimax if Marquez wins the first race...

Please, racing gods, can we have someone different win this year for a change?

If you don't mind shelling out the live streaming from MotoGP.com is pretty good.

Last year I said what a joke it is that the opening of the MotoGP season instead of being a party, it is this shitshow in Qatar instead that may as well not even count.

Nice to see that it may be an even bigger joke this year.

We complain about Abu Dhabi (and rightfully so), but this Qatar race is also a pathetic event to start your season with I have to say.

Rossi has used his 1 aero update for the season already...seems there's some desperation that side of the garage

In these conditions yes. Not convinced they are in warmer temperatures.

It's pretty simple, if conditions tomorrow are like Friday, Marc wins, if it's like today he should focus on finishing the race really and get the best he can.

It's not dirty and he didn't break any rules. Even Petruci said so.

Desperation more on Yamaha than Rossi probably..

Joker played

In an attempt to solve the problem, Rossi opted to use the new version of the Yamaha aero package, which previously only Maverick Viñales had been using. Rossi had started the weekend on the old package, as had the two Petronas Yamahas of Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli, but in FP4, the new package appeared on his bike. A curious decision, given that it means that Rossi has now used up both of his permitted homologated fairings, meaning no more updates throughout the year.

Rossi did not sound particularly keen on the plan, but had agreed to it after Yamaha told him they were unlikely to bring another update during the season. "I said it was better to remain with the old wings and try to adapt it, but Yamaha said that they are not sure they will bring an update in the year," the Italian said.

3 different bikes on he front row, hopefully an indication of how the whole season will be. Fabio was really impressive as a rookie too already right on the pace.

Fabio was superb. Also, seeing how well Franco was going really proves what we all knew; that the customer Honda was a piece of **** that really hindered many young riders trying to establish themselves.

It's obviously way too early to write Rossi off, but Yamaha now have 3 other really strong riders, so he will need to battle to ensure his is not always propping the rest up in qualifying. Surely he will be stronger in the race.

I think this is Dovi's race, with Baldassarri and Canet in Moto 2 & 3 respectively.

Pretty awesome slow-mo of the Ducati practice start there.  You could actually see front tire slip, as the road was 'moving' faster than the front wheel.

Excited for the race but got a feeling a lot riders will be sliding off into the gravel after what we’ve seen so far, crazy race incoming?

MotoGP.com commentators talking about the "fairytale" of Fenati winning in the first race back after his ban. Jeez, he could've killed someone, I'm not ready to sentimentalize that.

Commentators speculating that Fenati misinterpreted his first warning as a penalty. He's got time to recover but :drunk:

I follow Honda first and foremost in motorsport, but have secondary supported Japan and Japanese riders. Really wabted Kato becoming the first Japanese champion in the premiere class.

18 year old. Perhaps?

I was looking through Toba's results on Wikipedia and funnily enough, when he finished fourth in the 2016 Spanish Moto3 championship with a solitary victory, the remaining wins were taken by Lorenzo Dalla Porta, Marcos Ramirez, Tony Arbolino and Raul Fernandez, all of whom were fighting Toba for victory in Qatar this afternoon.

Fenati aside I'm not convinced there are any truly outstanding riders in Moto3 this year. Could be a season that rewards the guy with the best racecraft.

KTMs a little more evenly matched with the Hondas than I'd feared after spring testing.

Baldassari snookered Luthi there, who was visibly faster through the whole third sector but kept finding his line blocked by the Italian.
