I wonder if Ferrari will be the only car running the mirrors attached to the halo? Or has that been banned for this year?

Not banned but no additional wings can spout off them like they can off the chassis with the new outboard regulations.

All the cars so far have been good looking. Apart from the red bull maybe I guess. I hope Ferrari doesn't ruin that.

I'm so much looking forward to the 2019 Ferrari. Almost everything falls into place this season. Only Alonso should have been in the 2nd Mercedes!

And Verstappen in the second Ferrari. Then, 2019, would've been even better than 2007.

Yes, with the other Ferrari being driven by Leclerc. Then we could have champions vs. worthy pretenders.

You really think that McLaren looks good?

Theirs and Williams liveries .... mediocre at best .but yea thats personal taste.

If Ferrari has that bright red Marlboro bs again idk, disappointment .

I really hope to see them in that dark rich shiny red of old times once more.

Alonso is old and irrelevant to F1 for 2019. Though his fans still seem to miss Ferrari enough to follow them closely it'd seem. First Seb took his seat at Ferrari, now he's gone from F1 - 2019 will be really hard for you.

And take these sad driver fantasies to the right thread.

Do you lot think Ferrari will run a 'normal' front wing, or go with their FIAT brother, Alfa and try the 'inwash' idea?

I thought I am the only one thinking that way. The car is too orange and the drivers' overalls are too blue and the blue tone is ugly.

Slow cars look that way. And I am the first one who would wish McLaren doing a superb job...

Im sure they don't miss it that much.

I don't think they missed mediocre designs and false hope. Plenty of that in McHonda as well.

Well maybe minus the strategy fails.

Is usually the top team, from all top teams, presenting the new car at last not the team to beat?

During the Red Bull era Red Bull was the top team which, from all top teams, presented at last.

The same with Ferrari during their era or the same with Mercedes during their era...

By that "rule", 2019 is Ferrari's year?

Didn’t work for RB in 2017.

And last year Mercedes and Ferrari launched in the same day.

Some of their most successful cars had the year naming convention. I wish this one was F2019 rather than SF90H or whatever.

They might be onto something really good if Binotto thinks its special... The Swiss are usually very, very restrained.

I note a real dearth of leaks this year.  Usually, AMuS by now has run an article on design cues/livery.  While those are obviously speculative, they're always an interesting read.

Well he's hardly going to call it a ****box, is he? Every team thinks their car is very special when they launch it.

We've heard rumours that it's not a very pretty car. So I'm wondering if that means Mclaren-esque nose.

I’d be very surprised if they departure from the nose solution they’ve had for the last three years.

I think so. Maybe we can distinguish the nose under the covers but I'm not 100% sure.

The moment a team boss showcases the new car and says "we built an absolute dog, see you next year", is the moment I'll be a fan of that team.

Personally, I don't want to see anything too radical. Last year's car was solid; a neat evolution with normalization for 2019's rules should work just fine in theory..

Like all the Swiss are the same. Wasn’t Sepp Blatter Swiss? Surely he isn’t an example for all Swiss.

"It seems that This time we built an absolute do...minator. Put together this shi...ftbox and other parts. The whole proces was utter...ly brilliant. I am so ready to fire... up the engine. We haven't even started yet and the season is already over ...exciting."

Its like they dont have hundreds of employees and many sponsors they have to show confidence in.

Even if a team did build and utter crapheap do you really think a good leader would say our people did crap in public.

Interested to see what ferrari have done to claw back df.

Underwhelming if true. Almost like last year's car and the livery is bad.

I think (hope) it's a fan made thing. There's no numbers on the car as well.
