Forums only...

I get asked to log in once every couple of days. I also sometimes get a 'For your privacy we use cookies, can we check out your cookies' (or similar) and there is no option. Okay or doom.

How does this protect my privacy?

I do understand your frustration as personally never having to logon ever couple of days.

Here's the obnoxious message I get most times when I log in:

I fail to see how valuing my privacy has anything whatever to do with any of these things.

And what are we to do if we're not happy? Not use the site?

Again, totally obnoxious.

"No answer!" came the stern reply...

Again, how does it protect my privacy?

Ray - that message is to let you know about the advertising cookies which run on the site. You're able to consent to these cookies by pressing OK or you can opt out of those cookies (or choose which third parties to allow and which to disallow) by pressing "More information".

You shouldn't see that message again once you've selected your options. Ironically your preference is stored in a cookie itself, so you will see message again if you delete your cookies or run your browser in a way which doesn't store cookies (Incognito mode, private browsing, etc). If that's not what you're doing, can you let me know which operating system and browser you're using so that our developers can try to figure out what's wrong?

...and I'm still having to 'okay' the cookies and log in more often than I want to...
