There’s now an Autosport Forum league set up on the Official f1 Fantasy F1 site... Free to enter too!

Pick a team of 5 drivers and 1 constructor from a $100m budget. Your team will score points based on the team members' actual performance in the Grand Prix. You must also select a turbo driver for each team, who will score double points, for each race.

You can make as many changes to your team as you like before the team-picking deadline closes at the start of qualifying for the first race of the season. Each user’s last saved team is the team that gets entered into their leagues.

Initially, a valid team must cost $100m or less. There are no restrictions on how many drivers can be used from a particular team.

As your drivers increase or decrease in price, this will be reflected in the budget available for you to use when making changes to your team. So when your driver’s go up or down in price, so too will your budget.

Me thinks they've taken the template for this from a fantasy game based on some other sport - they refer to the drivers as "players" a lot.

I don't think it was mentioned in the podracing game but you were close, it's a Star Wars thing.

You planning on being tie-d for positions?

You can swap one driver per race for free, every further swap will cost you ten points from the points you earned in the game. There are also two wildcards, if you use one ahead of a race weekend, you can select a completely new team.
