I've watched more of the F2 pre-race build up on Sky in those 5 minutes than I did for F1 strangely..

And my heart has just sunk, Johnny Herbert commentating

If the tyres weren't so prone to excessive wear it could have worked...

It's when the tyres start to wear down that you get the easy passes.  Three DRS zones is clearly fine and this is F2 were passing is easier than F1.

I dread the moment Ghiotto has to pit for tyres, despite his pace now

either Calderon and Ilott are swapping positions every corner or the transponders are faulty

As Calderon is running 3 seconds on the road, I bet on a transponder

Ghiotto fighting back brilliantly. De Vries should have got past Delatraz much, much quicker

These stops are surely too early, you'll run out of tyres way before the end

De Vries has once again apparently killed his tyres way too early. He’s fast over one lap but hopeless in the races

The same old story indeed, trying too hard and staying too long in foul air. And then no tyres left for defense. And so on to an early stop (sigh)

Hmm, Hubert pitted too early. His tyres well still decent. I would have waited 3 or 4 laps more.

Someone in the mid pack should have at least tried to go to lap 22 or something. Everyone just following each other.
