That jump is a bit mental
As Franchitti just put it: "Yes, it's a little bit childish, but who doesn't love a good jump"

I understand why the drivers in Group 1 moan but the comentary team has it right, this is the most fair way given the circimstance.

Yup. No need to make it easy for those already on top.

Basically, if you've got a car setup that works well on both a colder, less green track at the start of qualifying and on a more evolved circuit, you're going to do well in the championship. This qualifying promotes good performance in all conditions rather than a purely optimal one which requires everything to go your way.

Don't have any particular allegiances in Formula E but there's a lesson for Jaguar as to why you shouldn't celebrate too early. Muppets
#76
Posted 13 April 2019 - 10:59
Yeah, Jaguar should really have known better. Celebrating before a result is in the bag is so often a recipe for disaster in motorsport - and not least in Formula e!

I mean, the cars looks & sounds stunning in real life.
And great to see the steering input of the drivers, fighting in the corners.
Go find a seat for one of the upcoming eprix, worth it!

Could be...
Sector 1 is currently pretty damp, the rest of the track is getting humid too.
