I don’t see how the McLaren’s would have collided if Daniil hadn’t been there. He managed to trip up both the orange cars and caused the whole thing.
Disagree, I don't see what else he could have done. He looked pretty under control to me and didn't exactly shift his line too much (no more than anyone else)
Racing incident, no one to blame.
Anyway, the race was a while ago.
And why a drive through when many in the past have had a 10 second or even a 5 second time penalty?

I thought it was an okay race, Hamilton got the jump on Bottas at the start and never really looked in trouble after that, Ferrari's strategy surprised me though, Leclerc really got screwed by them, given Vettel hasn't looked exactly stellar this season so far it seems odd to me that they are backing him so much so early in the campaign, if this was the 18th race I'd get it, but it's the 3rd!

When you have your two cars circulating a second or so apart, it's incredibly difficult to judge whether the first is holding up the second. You can't ask the drivers; you know what they'll say. Ferrari made the call and it turned out to be wrong-ish, maybe because Vettel's fronts had degraded while following. The mistake, if there was one, was the policy of favouring the team leader when in doubt, rather than a policy of changing position only if there's clear cut evidence of greater pace.

The teammate behind will ALWAYS state the one in front is holding him up.

Gasly would be up to a task to make a case of Max holding him up
