Due to a lengthy illness (cancer related), it's been quite some time since I've posted. Now that i am finally beginning to feel better I'm getting around to the forums. and I have my Photobucket account up and running again. With regards to my collection, I've sold off quite a few and kept those that special meaning for me and I've promised to limit myself to one purchase a month......we'll see how long that lasts.....

2001 Italian Grand Prix, the first race after the 9/11 attacks. The TAMEO black nose Ferrari of Michael Schumacher.

This the display that I made. The photo is an original ordered from The Cahier Archive and the press booklet is signed by Jean Todt and Schumacher.

My father spent some time with Ferrari, Ford and Porsche at this race. He was showing the drivers a new line of golf gloves that his company had come out with and he was able to convince his bosses that they just might make good drivers' gloves. Of course his trip was two-fold, it gave him press credentials and he was able to meet the teams, take plenty of photos and give away free samples of the gloves. Alas this in the days before NOMEX. This is Bandini in front of the winning 330 P4. Copyright JAG
