I've lost count of how many times I've read Schnell um den Nürburgring. He certainly was fast around the Ring, and a very capable touring car driver back in his day.

But AUTOSPORT is wrong about the location of his shop and later Lamborghini dealership/importer for Germany.

It was located in Düsseldorf, Germany, at the Corneliusstrasse.

RIP-Sad news. Well remember BMW 2002 mounted Hahne and Quester’s titanic battle at the 1969 Brands 6 Hour Touring cars with, of all things, John Fitzpatrick/Trevor Taylor Broadspeed Escort 1300!
