WOW.. I DO NOT LIKE THIS IMPLICATION.... Teams are supposed to stand on their own merit.. this just plainly stinks of a A-B Team utter nonsense in F1 to the nth degree. Gross.

From the pics in the paddock at AMuS it doesn't look anywhere near that cool.

It is almost at the level that Red Bull should build a permanent facility at all circuit and arrange the cost of exploitation with the track for the rest of 349 days of the year.

They have run the previous Energy Station for 14 years since 2005, with an estimate cost of 2.5M
Do the math yourself but the teams spent way more money then these motorhomes.

Toro Rosso have been in Red Bull’s energy station for years, so nothing has changed in that regard.

Doh..............you don't see glass ???
I do now that I've seen pictures of the thing set in Barcelona. Not in the image further up in the thread, which looks like the glass barrier isn't actually attached.

Yeah the picture at the top doesn't appear to have the glass bit at all.
But the motorhomes are immense these days, they put many permanent structures to shame!

Redbull have ditched the Energy Station and replaced it with the ‘Holzhaus’... Which will again house both Redbull & Toro Rosso during the European season

Looks like a giant Apple store.

I really hope this nonsense of spending is abolished after the budget cap is in place. What a useless way of spending money. A tent would suffice.
Head agrees with this, heart says 'wow, that's bloody amazing!'

I bet you can picture in your head Helmut Marko fondling some Toro Rosso bodywork in a purpose built dark closet in the Holzhaus.
Just wanted to pitch in your teenage girl type of writting.

Haas must feel a bit jealous and in awe when they look around them...
Haas needs to add a tower San Gimignano style

I hope the new Red Bull motorhome dosen't mean they're scrapping their floating Energy Station in Monaco?

Nah they'll just chuck this one in the Marina.

That's marketing and sponsorship activation. It's not going to be covered under the cap.

It's got one.

Dutch TV commentator mentions during 1st free practice that the new RBR/TR holzhaus will be dissambled after the Spanish GP and be transported to Italy,
where it will be re-assembled on floating barges, and the whole will be towed to Monaco.
Holzhaus has no air-conditioning, as it is so designed to stay cool by special air-flow systems, in the interest of sustainability and low energy consumption.
Takes a team of 25 two days to build-up and can be taken down in one day.

Not sure I agree with the using 'sustainability' when describing that house, they may have some sort of savings on CO2, but the overall imprint by moving it around make using that particular word somewhat hypocritical.

Why does the Ferrari motorhome look a bit like it could do battle with the Decepticons at any given moment...

Well its wood so I guess it should float.

Downsizing begins... Mclaren reducing the size of theirs for ‘sustainability’ reasons. Will only need 8 trucks instead of 17
https://www.motorspo...orhome/6290277/
Why? Did the motorhome pose for tasteful nude pics for a charity calendar?...
#36

Interesting idea - might cut down the amount of trucks required. Could imagine the teams using modified versions of this

I imagine that the problem is all of the stuff that they want to put into it after it's up. That has to be transported too.
