I like the title and it is much better than that ridiculous title given to the recent Warwick Farm book.

To be fair, the title was better than the book.
Which book, OP or WF? I guess WF from 'was' ... has anyone read this one? I looked on the website to get some idea, but the site is, shall we say, pretty basic and all I could find was the picture on the cover.

I agree that seems very hard to buy
I emailed them to ask how I could get a copy by mail and got this response:
"You can purchase online at www.oranparkracing.com.au
thank you
Lexie"
That site doesn't give any details.
It's almost like they don't want to sell the book.....

They held a launch a couple of weeks ago...
That was when I posted about it on the book thread.

.
Ray, it’s great to have a launch but little use if you can’t buy it.
It seems you have to go to the Narellan Newsagency, which is not convenient for most of us!

My copy arrived by post yesterday. No problem buying it from the website. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

I purchased a copy from the news agency today .
I live at Oran Park these days , so just a short trip from home to Narellan Town Centre .
A very nice book , with many images and interesting reading .
My first visit to O.P. was in 1964 , as a high school lad , two of us caught a train and hitched from Maroubra .

I received my copy today. I have only had time to give it a cursory glance but it seems to match the blurb in that it is more about the community connected to the track during its life, rather than a history of the racing which some might expect. There seems to be quite a few anecdotes so it should be worth a read on that basis. The pedant in me will probably 'tut' a bit with things such as 'Alan' Moffat mentioned more than once. Also one pic of Vern Schuppan says he is in a Lola T400 when it is clearly a T330/332. It's not a million dollar publication so I guess we can forgive some errant proofreading.

It's good to finally have a review of the book. Any others?

Holy goodness! Not only do I score a mention, but I'm quoted at length.
I didn't even remember writing it until there it was in the book.
But buy it anyway.

I am about half way through, and I am enjoying it.
