Been a while since I posted but I finally finished the Maserati and am well on the way with a Mercedes W196, my final selection of cars from that era.
Here are a few pics of the 250F. Again, body carved from Renshape and every other component is hand made from scrap materials. I don't build to any particular scale but all models I make are to scale (if you know what I mean). This one is about 11 inches long and has the identical wheelbase to my Lancia D50 posted earlier. I just did the math and it seems it's about 1/15th scale ... real car has a 2200 mm wheelbase and mine is 145.
