About ten years ago there was some confusion on this forum as to whether bike racer Peter Middleton was still alive. It turned out that - as in the case of Mark Twain - reports of his death had been exaggerated. That misapprehension was corrected, but we have received an email from Peter's daughter-in-law Emma this morning; he passed away on Friday.

The funeral details are as follows.

Huddersfield Crematorium on the 20th June at 11am.
After the funeral there is a gathering at Healds Hall Hotel in Liversedge. This is an open gathering if people wish to attend.
