If only to clear the mud from other threads then yes. But I don't plan on participating. Not worth it lol
That's exactly the goal. You won't see me here after this either.
My reasoning was posted in the RBR technical thread:
Boy oh boy...
The Honda is clearly not up to the level it needs to be. Good thing is that it is reliable up to now, but it does seem to need more grunt, especially at acceleration. RBR also hasn't built as good a car under the new regulations because the new rules hurt them most due to the concept they run. I am sure that at MK they are working hard to get it working up to the level they are accustomed to.
Renault made great strides with the PU, especially in the last two races where certain issues were addressed and they can run it at full (or higher) power. The car seems to be inconsistent, but as RBR, Renault is working hard to fix it.
Guys, I am the first to admit that I am one of the harshest Cyril critics and have posted as such here quite regularly. Most of you know I am an RBR guy, not so much Renault. But why do you all feel the need to either prove each other wrong, or gloat, or troll? I honestly do not get it. Don't we want competition? It seems that the general camps are made up out of Dan and Max fans who now have axes to grind (what for, I have no idea, both are great drivers) and that Dan fans who were in the RBR camp the past years suddenly want to see Honda/RBR fail and Max fans who want to do nothing else but downplay Renault's improvements.
It's getting childish, repetitive and boring with us all repeating the same stuff over and over and over again. As if that would change the opinions of the ones you're debating with.
Please get rid of Cyril ( ), but I for one want to see true hard battles on track. The more the merrier.
