While I am excited to get FE back, I can't help but feel that they missed the boat a bit, especially given the solution they ended up with. Practically EVERY other series has already been out and racing, some for weeks... Oh well, let's get this freak show over with. Should be really fun anyways!

"It's really, finally, nearly time to go racing again"
And time to mangle the English language, it seems.
But looking forward to the races. I may even buy some of those Berliner doughnuts to enjoy during the caution periods.

Well, no other series has a calendar based basically only on City Center-Street Circuits.
So FE was affected the most i think.

Maybe, but it took them much longer than anybody else to implement a plan to get back on track, and considering the nature of the plan, they could have done this weeks ago.

Counter to that is of course an absolutely mammoth five month gap and a loss of the novelty in the return to real life racing.
But I’m glad to have the season concluding now either way so...

Yeah, the gap is ridiculous, and with all the driver changes, it basically FEELS like the NEXT season already.

I do remember the first season being particularly like a driver merry-go-round. If I remember correctly, they put in incentives to keep drivers in for a full season for the second season to try and calm it down a bit.
Looking forward to the Berlin races now - absolutely no idea who's going to take the title some the end of it whatsoever.

Urgh, Twitter is flooded with asinine FanBoobs posts today, so annoying.

Some solid opinion polls and engagment statistics for Fanboost would actually be of interest to me. I'd still defintely rather it wasn't there at all, but FE must feel it brings some net benefit else you'd have thought they'd have dropped it by now.
I'm just glad it's so inconsequential to the results.

Oh, why did you have to remind me about Van Boost? After all these months, I had blissfully forgotten all about it.

So have I, until it came back on Twitter today, like spicy acid reflux after a taco orgy.

I had a guided tour of Tempelhof during August a good few years back. Standing on the concrete apron in that heat is how I imagine a baked potato might feel in an oven.

That's nice, especially as celebrations at the track were limited to race personel only.

Fascinating story!
And we'll soon move on to the Season 7 Thread.
Even with a butchered Season 6, it's been a success here on the forum.
New faces coming in, a lot of pages of discussion...
Can't wait for what's coming next!
