I am in the process of selling a Lucas Mark 1 PI injection set. I am no Lucas expert, though I understand that these units were used in 50's and 60's race outfits (whilst the later Mark 2 units found their way onto Triumph production cars). From what I understand, the 1957 Le Mans 24 hour was won by a Jaguar fitted with the Mark 1 unit, with significant Grand Prix placings in 1966 and 1967 (as per a red card covered Lucas booklet of 15 single sided typed numbered pages).
I had intended to use the Lucas injection on an early Holden race vehicle, though have now found more simpler means to provide injection.
